GMGN Trenches is the launch feed at the center of the GMGN terminal: three live columns of tokens moving from creation through bonding-curve graduation to a DEX pool, with one-key buying, a security panel per token, and automation that can snipe a launch or a migration without you touching the mouse. It is the fastest way to lose money on GMGN and, used with discipline, the feature its most profitable users lean on.

This guide explains the three columns, New Pair versus Trending, hotkeys and Quick Buy, every field in the security panel, how the sniper, auto-buy and migrated-snipe orders work, the three Anti-MEV modes, what bundler and insider percentages mean, Trenches on Robinhood Chain, the failure codes you will see, and what it all costs.

This is an independent guide; GMGN AI App Guide is not affiliated with GMGN.

What is GMGN Trenches? The three columns

Open the GMGN AI app at gmgn.ai, pick a chain, and the Trenches view shows three columns streaming in real time:

Column What it lists Typical age Risk profile
New Tokens just created on a launchpad (Pump.fun, letsbonk, Raydium LaunchLab and others) Seconds to minutes Highest: most never graduate; bundlers and snipers dominate
Almost Bonded Tokens close to completing their bonding curve Minutes to hours Medium: momentum is visible, but a stalled curve bleeds out
Migrated Tokens whose liquidity has moved to a DEX pool Post-graduation Lower launch risk; still a memecoin

The columns are a pipeline. A token appears in New, either dies there (the vast majority) or gathers enough buys to reach Almost Bonded, then migrates. Decide which stage you trade, because the tools and risks differ at each.

Each row shows market cap, age, holders, volume, the deployer ("BC owner", the bonding-curve owner or dev), socials, and the security flags below. Narrowing the columns is covered in the GMGN filters guide.

GMGN Trenches is not the only discovery view. There are also New Pair, Trending and Discover tabs.

  • New Pair lists freshly created pools across the chain, including DEX pools not born on a launchpad. It overlaps with the Trenches New column but is broader.
  • Trending ranks tokens by recent volume, buys and holder growth. Trending tokens have already moved; you are buying momentum, not discovering it.
  • Discover is a curated overview with smart-money buys, KOL activity and other signals.

Trenches and New Pair suit traders who accept that most entries go to zero in exchange for occasional early positions. Trending suits traders who prefer confirmation and accept a worse entry. Mixing them without a plan is how people buy tops in Trending with the sizing they intended for Trenches.

GMGN hotkeys: Simple mode vs Combo mode

Hotkey buying is what makes Trenches fast. GMGN documents two modes:

  • Simple mode: hold Z and press the row key for the token you want. Each visible row in the active column is bound to a key.
  • Combo mode: press Space, then a column key, then a row key, so you can target any column without switching focus.

Set your Quick Buy amount, slippage and priority fee first, because the hotkey uses whatever is preset and there is no confirmation dialog. Practice with the smallest amount you would accept losing on a mis-press, and remember rows shift as tokens stream in.

How does GMGN Quick Buy work?

Quick Buy is a row of preset amounts (SOL, ETH or BNB by chain) on each token card. Clicking one, or pressing its hotkey, submits a market buy at your current settings.

  1. Choose three or four presets that map to your sizing, for example 0.1, 0.25, 0.5 and 1 SOL.
  2. Set slippage. GMGN recommends Auto for manual trades, 30–35% for automated orders, and 50% or more for brand-new tokens.
  3. Set priority fee. GMGN suggests 0.002–0.005 SOL for normal trades and 0.006 SOL or more for automated orders. Its 0.006 SOL default is roughly six times Axiom's, so check what you have set.
  4. Keep at least 0.05 SOL in reserve, or buys fail with "Exceeds wallet balance."

Fees compound at small sizes: a 0.1 SOL buy at 0.006 SOL priority fee is 6% in on-chain cost before GMGN's 1%. The GMGN fees guide has the full math.

Reading the security panel before you snipe

Every token card and page carries a security panel with these documented fields:

Field What it checks What you want
Mint authority Can the deployer mint more supply Disabled
Freeze / Blacklist Can wallets be frozen or blocked from selling None
Top-10 holder % Share held by the ten largest wallets Low
LP burned % Share of liquidity tokens burned High
Rug probability GMGN's composite risk score Low, as a heuristic
Dev rug history Has this deployer rugged before None
Honeypot (ETH) Does the contract block sells No
Contract verified / ownership renounced (EVM) Source verified; owner privileges removed Yes / yes
Buy / sell tax (EVM) Transfer taxes in the contract Zero or low
Insiders % Supply held by pre-launch wallets Low
Snipers % Supply bought in the first blocks Low
Bundlers % Supply bought in coordinated launch bundles Low
Phishing flag Wallet or token linked to phishing-style behavior Absent
Dev sold Has the deployer sold Context: an early seller is a red flag; a holder is a future seller

None of these guarantees anything. A token can pass every check and go to zero because nobody buys it. The panel filters out mechanical rugs, not social ones. Is GMGN safe? covers how GMGN's own custody model fits your risk picture.

Bundler, insider and sniper percentages explained

  • Bundler %: a deployer can submit a bundle that creates the token and buys a large chunk of supply across several wallets in the same block. A high bundler share means the "organic" holders you see are one entity that can dump on demand.
  • Insider %: wallets that held before public launch or are linked to the deployer. Same risk, different mechanism.
  • Sniper %: supply bought in the first blocks by bots. Not necessarily malicious, but snipers sell into the first pump, capping early upside for everyone behind them.

GMGN exposes Insider and Bundler tabs on the token page so you can see the wallets involved, and the GMGN wallet tracker tags them (Sniper, Fresh wallet) in holder lists. GMGN does not publish thresholds for "high"; the filters guide gives example cutoffs.

How to use the GMGN sniper bot: auto-buy and migrated snipe

The "gmgn sniper bot" is not a separate product. It is a set of automated order types in the terminal and Telegram bots that buy within the first blocks after a trigger:

  • Auto buy: buys a token as soon as it becomes tradable. Use when you know the CA before launch.
  • Migrated snipe: buys the moment liquidity migrates from the bonding curve to a DEX pool. The most popular mode, because migration is a public, predictable event and the first seconds after it are volatile.
  • Migrated sell: sells your bonding-curve position at migration.
  • Dev-sell auto-sell: exits automatically if the deployer sells.

Setup on the web:

  1. Open the token page or Order panel and choose the automation type.
  2. Set amount, slippage (50%+ for launches), priority fee (0.006 SOL+) and Anti-MEV mode.
  3. Optionally attach TP/SL. Auto-created TP/SL orders are valid for 24 hours; the limit orders and stop-loss guide covers batched and trailing take-profit.
  4. Confirm. The order waits for the trigger or until you cancel it. The cap is 100 active limit orders per account.

For "gmgn sniper bot telegram", @GMGN_sol_bot handles Solana buys, sells and automation from chat; verify the handle character by character, because phishing clones swap a capital I for a lowercase l. The GMGN Telegram bot guide walks through the commands.

Two clarifications. "Trenches gmgn ai" and "gmgn ai bot" usually refer to the AI Signal feed in the mobile app's Monitor tab, which surfaces tokens but does not trade for you; GMGN documents no autonomous AI trading bot. "Gmgn snipe x" means using the X Tracker (tweets mentioning a contract address) as a trigger; GMGN shows the tweets, you place the order. "Gmgn radar" is Wallet Radar, which surfaces active wallets rather than tokens.

Anti-MEV on GMGN: off, reduced, secure

Sandwich attacks were a real cost. An April 2025 analysis reported GMGN users absorbed roughly 30.8% of Solana sandwich-attack profits across more than 260,000 attacks in 30 days (Ainvest). GMGN shipped Anti-MEV in July 2025 with a compensation policy for verified victims.

Per GMGN's documentation, Anti-MEV has three modes, off, reduced and secure, and requires a minimum 0.002 SOL priority fee plus a 0.0001 SOL tip to a private node. GMGN keeps neither; they go to validators and Jito-style nodes. It is only available from a GMGN-hosted wallet; "Trade with Wallet" mode loses Anti-MEV and automation.

Secure gives the strongest protection at the cost of a possible A3 failure (Anti-MEV RPC fail) under congestion; reduced is the middle ground; off is fastest and most exposed. On a launch snipe where being first matters more than a 2% sandwich, some traders run reduced or off; on a 2 SOL buy into a thin pool, secure is cheap insurance.

Robinhood Chain trenches on GMGN

Robinhood Chain is an Arbitrum-stack L2 launched on 1 July 2026, with ETH for gas and no native token. Memecoin volume dominates it: in one three-day window GMGN's router handled 4.86 million swaps worth $947.5 million, about 18.5% of USDG-quoted volume (Medium/Coinmonks analysis). A competitor-cited DefiLlama split for August 2026 put roughly 58.6% of GMGN's 30-day activity on Robinhood Chain, ahead of BSC and Solana.

Access it at gmgn.ai/?chain=robinhood. The layout matches Solana's, with differences:

  • Gas is in ETH and follows the EVM model rather than a SOL-denominated priority fee.
  • The security panel shows EVM fields: contract verified, ownership renounced, buy/sell tax, honeypot.
  • Copy trading is Solana-only, so Robinhood trenches are manual and limit-order territory.
  • Chain mix shifts fast (Solana was 99.5% of activity in January 2025); the GMGN chains guide tracks the current picture.

GMGN sniper failure codes

Code Meaning Costs gas? Fix
A1 Low priority fee timeout No Raise priority fee
A2 Slippage exceeded at submission No Raise slippage
A3 Anti-MEV RPC fail No Retry; try reduced mode
B1 (trade_error_0x1) Insufficient SOL No Top up; keep 0.05 SOL
B2 Insufficient token to sell No Check balance
B3 Buy restricted No Skip token
B4 Honeypot / blacklist, unsellable No Do not buy
B5 Session invalid No Log in again
C1 (0x1e, 0x1773) Slippage revert on execution Yes Raise slippage
D1 (0x28) Liquidity pulled No Rugged; nothing to do
D2 (0x1775) Migration in progress No Wait
D3 Congestion No Retry; raise priority fee
order10006 Pool under $500 No Too small to trade
order10007 Buy exceeds 20% of pool No Reduce size
order10008 100-order cap reached No Cancel old orders
40002700 / order10013 No Available Router No See below

"No Available Router" means GMGN found no swap route: the pool was removed, the token is mid-migration, or there is an RPC outage. It costs nothing. The No Available Router guide covers verifying the pool on Solscan, switching RPC, and when raising slippage helps. Codes G1, H1–H3, J1 (wick not held), J2, K1–K5 and L1–L3 apply to automated orders such as TP/SL and trailing stops.

What does sniping on GMGN cost?

There is no sniper surcharge. Every trade pays:

  • 1% GMGN fee on the buy and again on the sell.
  • Priority fee, 0.0001–2 SOL; GMGN recommends 0.006 SOL or more for automated orders.
  • Tip for private-node routing, 0.0001–2 SOL, required at 0.0001 minimum with Anti-MEV.
  • Launchpad fee: Pump.fun-launched tokens carry the launchpad's own 1%.

On a 0.1 SOL migrated snipe at 0.006 SOL priority fee and 1% each way, the round trip costs about 14% before price moves; at 1 SOL, about 3.2%. GMGN's displayed PnL does not reliably deduct priority fees, so track wallet balance rather than the PnL card for the true number.

Key takeaways

  • GMGN Trenches has three columns, New, Almost Bonded and Migrated, ordered by decreasing launch risk; pick a stage and size for it.
  • Hotkeys (Simple: hold Z + row; Combo: Space + column + row) and Quick Buy execute instantly with your presets; set slippage and priority fee first.
  • The security panel and bundler/insider/sniper percentages screen out mechanical rugs, not social ones.
  • The "sniper bot" is a set of automated orders (Auto buy, Migrated snipe, Dev-sell auto-sell) with no extra fee; TP/SL orders expire after 24 hours.
  • Anti-MEV has off, reduced and secure modes and needs 0.002 SOL priority fee plus 0.0001 SOL tip.
  • Submission failures (A, B, D codes) are free; C1 execution failures burn gas.

Frequently asked questions

What are the three columns in GMGN Trenches?

New shows tokens just created on a launchpad, Almost Bonded shows tokens approaching bonding-curve graduation, and Migrated shows tokens whose liquidity has moved to a DEX pool such as Raydium. Risk decreases left to right; so does the upside of an early entry.

How do I use the GMGN sniper bot?

On the web terminal, set up an Auto buy or Migrated snipe order with your amount, slippage (50%+ for brand-new tokens), priority fee and Anti-MEV mode. GMGN's sniper buys within the first blocks after the trigger. In Telegram, @GMGN_sol_bot handles Solana buys and automation; verify the handle first.

What is Anti-MEV on GMGN?

Anti-MEV routes your transaction to avoid sandwich attacks. It has three modes (off, reduced, secure) and requires at least a 0.002 SOL priority fee plus a 0.0001 SOL tip. GMGN shipped it in July 2025 with a compensation policy for verified sandwich victims.

What do bundler, insider and sniper percentages mean?

Bundler % is supply bought in coordinated launch bundles, insider % is supply held by wallets that were in before launch, and sniper % is supply bought in the first blocks. High values mean a few coordinated wallets can dump on you; low values do not guarantee safety.

Does GMGN have Trenches on Robinhood Chain?

Yes. Robinhood Chain is an Arbitrum-stack L2 that launched 1 July 2026 and uses ETH for gas; GMGN supports it at gmgn.ai/?chain=robinhood. Memecoin volume dominates the chain, but Solana-specific automation such as copy trading is not available there.

What does a snipe on GMGN cost?

The flat 1% GMGN fee on the buy and again on the sell, plus your priority fee (0.0001–2 SOL) and optional tip. Pump.fun-launched tokens add the launchpad's own 1%. Submission failures (B-codes) cost nothing; execution failures (C1) burn gas and the priority fee.
