Every guide on this site follows the same rules. They exist so that a reader can check our work, and so that we do not repeat the affiliate-page habit of quoting numbers nobody can trace.
1. Official documentation first
The primary source for how GMGN works is docs.gmgn.ai, followed by GMGN's in-app text, the GMGN blog, the GMGNAI GitHub organization and GMGN's official X and Telegram accounts. If a feature, limit or fee is not in one of those places, we do not state it as fact.
2. Money figures come from DefiLlama, dated
Fee and market-share figures come from DefiLlama's fee adapters. We record the date we read them (for example, "read 8 September 2026") because terminal market share moves by double-digit percentages month to month. A figure without a date is a figure we have not verified.
3. App facts come from the stores
Anything about the mobile apps (name, seller, size, minimum OS, rating, last update) comes from the App Store and Google Play listings linked from gmgn.ai/app, on the date stated.
4. Unverified claims are labeled
Where the community reports something we cannot confirm (merch drops, support response times, unofficial extensions), we say "reported" or "we could not verify" rather than presenting it as fact. Where GMGN's own material contradicts itself, such as custody language in the Terms versus the wallet documentation, we quote both sides.
5. No fabricated discounts
GMGN's referral program pays the referrer a share of fees. GMGN's documentation does not describe a published fee discount for the referred user. We do not claim one, and we flag pages that do.
6. Review dates and corrections
Each article shows the date it was last reviewed. When GMGN changes something material (a fee, a chain, a limit), we update the guide and the date. Corrections are welcome through the contact page.
7. What we do not do
We do not give personalized financial advice, we do not recommend specific tokens, we do not publish contract addresses (they change and are easily spoofed), and we never ask for private keys, seed phrases or 2FA codes. Anyone who does, in our name or GMGN's, is a scammer.
